EUBrasilCloudFORUM project givs ICT companies/startups/SMEs the opportunity  to join the free online marketplace and to increase the chances of finding users for their services in Brazil and Europe.

It is an instrument to support the internationalization of SMEs, set up by the European Commission and the Government of Brazil. The initiative will be useful for those, who looking for development, new markets and opportunities. If you are interested in finding partners in Brazil or other information related to the Brazilian market, you can register in the online marketplace. The platform is a practical tool for facilitating collaboration between companies and experts from the ICT industry and academia from Europe and Brazil. Registration is free and will contribute to presenting your expertise, products and services and finding partners from Brazil and Europe.

Companies can join the marketplace in two sections:

  • Techonological Assests(e.g. tools, services and software components): companies with services on cloud, Internet of Things and Big-Data can submit their service in the catalogue of services and make them available for uptake by businesses, including start-ups, SMEs and large companies from Europe and Brazil. Companies only need to describe the asset and be visible in a transatlantic community of potential users, looking for services that foster innovation and improve their competitive position.   • EU & Brazilian SMEs and Startups: a dedicated are of EUBrasilCloudFORUM marketplace listing  top-class European & Brazilian SMEs and Start-ups. Companies need to fill this form to be included in this section

The 2nd brokerage event took place on 2 October in Brussels

MOVE European Strategic Cluster Partnership organized the 2nd Brokerage event on 2 October in Brussel, Belgium.

Representatives of clusters, companies and universities from Bulgaria, France, Italy, Spain, Poland and Macedonia working in the field of transport, logistics, smart mobility, smart cities, ICT and green technologies participated in the event and presented their organizations and activities.

Keynote speaker was Mr. Christophe Guichard, representative of the European commission and Cluster internationalization team. He presented the actual and future opportunities for the growth of SMEs, the challenges and role for the clusters. The representatives of Brazilian Trade and Investment Agency and of the Embassy of Morocco in Belgium presented the opportunities for cooperation projects in Morocco and Brazilian markets. They were discussed current status and future challenges of the MOVE project, internationalization strategy deployment and enlargement and sustainability strategy.

The B2B event gave participants the opportunity to meet each other and to identify opportunities for cross-border and cross-sectoral cooperation.

One of the main objectives of MOVE partnership is to be active in the identification of business opportunities among cluster’s companies and fostering cooperation between them.

The B2B event will give the opportunity to participating companies and clusters active in the field of mobility, ICT and green technologies to meet each other and identify possibilities of cross-collaboration.

During the event MOVE ESCP will present the opportunities for internationalization in Third countries’ markets – Morocco and Brazil.

The third MOVE project partners’ meeting took place on 1 – 2 December 2016 in Brussels, Belgium

All partners, Canary Cluster for Transport and Logistics, Bulgarian Cluster Telecommunications and Environment park, participated in the event

Project partners discussed implementation progress, assessment of project development:, timetable and deliverables, project milestones and indicators. Important decisions were taken on the following topics: analysis of third markets (Morocco and Brazil), scheme of the internationalization strategy, ESCP agreement, Brokerage event and study visits, trainings and capacity buildings activities.

MOVE project partners participated in the European Cluster Conference 2016 and European cluster matchmaking event.

The European Cluster Conference 2016 kicked off in the morning of 1st December 2016 gathering more than 300 attendees from all over Europe comprising national and regional policy-makers and cluster managers.

The fifth edition of the European Cluster Conference 2016 was focused on Cluster 4.0 – Shaping Smart Industries and included high-level plenary speeches, panel discussions and interactive sessions where participants had the chance to share their experience and challenges. Parallel discussions tookplace in four priority areas related to industrial modernisation, namely smart manufacturing and digital transformation, the circular economy, key enabling technologies, and creative and data-driven services. The parallel discussions included the role of clusters in boosting the innovation uptake and growth opportunities through strengthening cross-sectoral value chain linkages, strategic European partnering, international collaboration and skills towards shaping smart industries.

European Cluster Manager of the Year and European Strategic Cluster Partnership of the Year were awarded.

In conjunction with the European Cluster Conference, the European Cluster Collaboration Platform organized a large-scale European cluster matchmaking event that was held as a pre-event on 30th November 2016, also in Brussels. With over 500 bilateral meetings between EU clusters, the ECCP matchmaking event has clearly met the expectations of the 114 participating cluster organisations from 21 countries. These clusters represent more than 10.000 SMEs in Europe that will benefit from the contacts and the concrete cooperation initiatives developed during the matchmaking sessions.

All MOVE project partners participated in the European Cluster Conference 2016 and European cluster matchmaking event. During the networking event MOVE project was presented to the clusters and several new clusters were identified to be invited to join MOVE ESCP.

Upcoming opportunities for networking and matchmaking between companies – members of MOVE project partners during European Cluster Conference 2016

European Cluster Conference 2016 will be held in Brussels on the 30th of November – 2nd of December 2016. The conference will take place on December 1-2nd, 2016 at the Crowne Plaza Rogier Hotel with a European cluster matchmaking pre-event on the 30th of November 2016.

Upcoming opportunities for matchmaking during EU-Brazil cluster & business matchmaking event

From the 30th of November to 1st of December 2016, an EU-Brazil Cluster & Business Matchmaking Event will take place within the scope of the Pollutec Fair 2016 (Lyon, France). The aim of the Event is to foster cooperation between European and Brazilian clusters and companies.

The cluster and SME matchmaking sessions will represent a unique opportunity for:
– representatives of European cluster organisations interested in cluster collaboration with Brazil to explore possible common areas of interest for cooperation and complementarities, in terms of sectoral, value chain, and market focus of their SMEs and other companies; and
– representatives of European SMEs interested in establishing cooperation partnerships with SMEs from Brazil to introduce low carbon related technologies within the Brazil market through B2B meetings (matchmaking sessions) with Brazilian companies.

Clusters and SMEs from MOVE project partnership will also participate in the event.

The MOVE project was presented during the annual meeting of the Balkan and Black Sea ICT Clusters’ Network, Budva, Montenegro

The annual meeting of the Balkan and Black Sea ICT Clusters’ Network was held on 28 – 30 September 2016 in Budva, Montenegro.

Balkan and Black Sea ICT Clusters Network was launched in April 2014. The main goal of the Network is to create framework to intensify collaboration of ICT Clusters and ICT organizations in the Balkan and Black Sea region aiming to meet common challenges affecting business opportunities in the region. Members of the network are 20 ICT clusters and organizations from Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.

During the event Krasimira Shindarova, project coordinator at Bulgarian Cluster Telecommunications, presented the project MOVE: its aims, achievements, expected results. Ms. Shindarova also presented the MOVE’s Partnership, the opportunities for cross – cluster and cross – sector collaboration and the activities that MOVE performs in order to support the internationalization of SMEs members toward third countries – Morocco and Brazil.

Training on “Opportunities for business development in sector telecommunications and the companies – members of BCT” took place on 21.07.2016.

The companies – members of Bulgarian Cluster Telecommunications participated in training “Opportunities for business development in sector telecommunications and the companies – members of BCT”. The training was part of capacity building activities within the project MOVE – Moving the Future.

The participants were trained on the following topics: 5G, industry 4.0, Internet of Things, Smart Cities, opportunities and challenges of internationalization on third markets, opportunities for cross – industry collaboration, funding under Horizon 2020

The hosting partner of the meeting was Numelink cluster and all partners Canary Cluster for Transport and Logistics, Bulgarian Cluster Telecommunications and Environment park participated in the event
